The Role

As a Senior Front End Developer at First Table, you will be at the forefront of our tech revolution. Collaborating closely with our passionate team, you will have the opportunity to unleash your creative flair and shape the future of our unique booking platform. Utilising your expertise in front-end technologies, you will bring to life delightful user interfaces that seamlessly integrate with major restaurant reservation management systems through our unified API.

What You'll Do

• Lead the development and implementation of robust and visually stunning web applications using cutting-edge front-end technologies.
• Collaborate with our cross-functional team to translate business requirements into elegant user interface designs.
• Create clean, maintainable, scalable code that adheres to industry best practices.
• Conduct thorough code reviews to ensure code quality, performance, and adherence to established guidelines.
• Troubleshoot and debug issues to optimise system functionality and user experience.
• Stay up-to-date with emerging front-end trends, technologies, and best practices, and share knowledge with the team.

What We're Looking For

• Minimum of 5 years experience as a Front End Developer, with a focus on building captivating user interfaces.
• Proficiency in React, Next.js, Typescript, styling frameworks (styled components or Tailwind).
• Experience with responsive design principles and optimising applications for various devices and screen sizes.
• Knowledge of conversion rate optimisation and analytics.
• Strong understanding of UI/UX principles and ability to translate design wireframes into functional code.
• Familiarity with version control systems (Git) and agile development methodologies.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and a keen eye for detail to deliver exceptional user experiences.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a diverse team environment.
• A genuine interest in the hospitality industry, and passionate about enhancing dining experiences through technology.
