Kyūjin Yakitori

A modern yakitori bar with just ten seats to its name, Kyūjin Yakitori is Bali’s answer to authentic Japanese eats.

It might be small in size, but this neat little eatery packs a substantial punch. Sleek and modern with hints of serene bamboo and cutesy potted bonsai trees, Kyūjin is as precise as it is personal. With only a wooden bar separating the diners from the chefs, eating here is about flavour and spectacle for a truly unique dining experience.

At the centre of its delicious operation is the BBQ which cooks, braises and smokes their signature skewers to perfection. From tenderloin to meatballs, pork belly, chicken wing and vegetables, this is the perfect opportunity to mix and match. Dip them in the richest soy, wrap them up in a fluffy white bread or just have them solo – it’s up to you.

And there are always side dishes to decorate the table with. Leading the pack is the softest pumpkin with sesame and shallots and that all-important refreshing gulp of miso soup. Simply watch the world go by over a collection of sumptuous offerings!
