A brand-new dining experience on South Beach and Kuta's main strip, Temple by Ginger Moon is where old and new collide, forming the perfect setting for the seasoned chefs to showcase 'Bali on a Plate'
It might be in the middle of all the action, but TEMPLE enjoys a perfectly serene setting in a preened temple garden. The restaurant itself takes pride in its stunning surroundings, cleverly designing the whole place to feel like a temple within a temple. 'What does that look like?' you might ask. Well, in TEMPLE's case, it means alternating shades of grey, red, tropical greens, and sparkling gold, welcoming everyone from near and far with a theatrical open kitchen, and perfuming the air with Balinese spices and burning coffee wood. TEMPLE is both mystical and magical in equal measure.
There's no mystery, however, in how much TEMPLE contributes to its local communities. Committed to buying local produce and working closely with local craftsmen, they're putting Bali well and truly on the map. Their ethos has given way to an astounding menu full of half-moon steamed buns and dumplings for starters. They're the ultimate tasty treat that won't threaten your appetite!
From the fire, cooked over rambutan & coffee woods, you are blessed with a fiery choice of smoked duck, a very special rendition of Babi Guling, Ibu Baya's mum's famous chicken curry, mouthwatering pork ribs "Babi Kecap", Aussie yearling beef ribeye on the bone or today's freshly caught tropical fish served "Ikan Pepes". Their Balinese-inspired pizzas are so tempting, putting their own spin on the Italian staple with suckling pig, Bali basil, smoky ham, coriander, local spices and fruits from the ocean including water spinach. They're also employing the wok for the ultimate nasi and mie goreng, served with tofu & tempeh, prawn, or chicken satays.
Always fresh, always fantastic, this is where food-lovers come to worship the food gods.
