Love ribs? Montins Ribs seems like a good shout.
You might be expecting a jazzy American diner, but this eatery is anything but. It's completely minimalist with just a few chairs and tables to its name, but that serves to create a wonderfully calm and serene atmosphere; perfect really! That way you won't get distracted and spill sticky goodness on your new white shirt.
Now, if you don't leave this place in a meat-induced coma, you haven't done it right. If you're really ravenous, try and tackle their signature dish of crispy pork knuckle with mash and vegetables. Alternatively, put the camera away and get messy with grilled pork satay or beef ribs marinated in Balinese spices. Seafood lovers will rejoice at the Prawn Munduk Sangkur which is gorgeously garlicky and comes with fluffy rice and fern tips.
You've probably worked up a sweat, so cool off with an ice-cold strawberry margarita, perfect for hot days and even hotter spices!
