Escape to this idyllic hideaway in Sanur…

Tucked away in a lush tropical jungle, JAHE Restaurant offers an intimate setting for casual fine dining.

Inspired by its namesake (Jahe means ginger in Balinese), the restaurant specialises in the freshest ingredients and authentic flavours.

Their experienced chefs offer an array of Western and Asian dishes, including barbequed meats and local delicacies. For a signature eat, try the grilled Jimbaran snapper, or the baby pork ribs with homemade BBQ sauce.

Located within the premises of The Pavilions Bali, a boutique villa resort in the heart of Sanur, JAHE remains one of the islands’ best kept dining secrets.

Reviews

Our starters were great, main courses medium to good. Not the best we have had, but:
The service was very good and ambience just perfect for a couple's romantic night out. Would recommend.

Was hard to find the restaurant but once we got there it was so lovely and peaceful! Waiters were all very nice (language barrier as we asked for another plate of ribs and got just a plate so gave up). Food was good. Although my fish compared to my hubbys was very dry and hard to eat and pumpkin in salad not cooked enough. We didn’t know we only had one hour to order all food including desert. But wyan was kind enough to let our girls order desert half price. Didn’t work out as cheap as we think it should. But lovely experience, Dragon fruit cheesecake was our fav.

The atmosphere is wonderful here, from the moment you step off the street and walk down a tree-lined driveway to the restaurant. There are little gazebos for tables out in the quiet garden, and the staff are so attentive and helpful. The food is lovely and I suggest you have three courses! We really enjoyed a special night out here. (It is part of the Pavilion Hotel Complex.) Recommended!

We enjoyed a lovely meal in a beautiful garden setting. Prices for food and beverages were very reasonable. A perfect setting for a special meal that’s not crazy expensive.
