They might be on a different continent, but that doesn't have to stop you from getting an authentic Italian bite in Bali.
Zibiru is a firm favourite amongst locals, and it's not hard to see why. Take the restaurant itself, which is best described as a leafy paradise. The interior mimics an old Bali-style beach house which opens up onto a twinkling patio and garden which comes with a swing; perfect for when you've had one too many tipples!
Then there's the menu, which serves timeless dishes from different regions in Italia. Made entirely from fresh ingredients, the pasta dishes come in all shapes and sizes, from tagliatelle with rabbit ragu to semolina pasta with prawns, squid and clams. The Carne section boasts a slow-cooked beef shank and duck confit while fish-lovers will go nuts for the pistachio-crusted tuna fillet. There's also a whole menu dedicated to vegetarians!
Do these flavours justice with a bottle of the good stuff! Can't decide? Ask one of their friendly staff.
