A new offering from renowned PICA South American Kitchen, this eatery brings forth great food and drink overlooking one of Ubud's most iconic landmarks.

With views over Campuhan Ridge and the Pura Gunung Lebah Temple, Cantina Rooftop calls one of Ubud's most significant temples its neighbour. The restaurant is relaxed and loungey, inviting guests to sit back on plush stools, cushioned sofas or soak in the views from a window seat. Soft wicker lamps afford the place a laidback ambience whilst the warm air swirls around in this indoor-outdoor concept. A place you can call home, Cantina hits pause on everyday life.

Cris Encina is joined on the pans by Jorge Valderrama, a fellow Chilean Chef who has cooked in creative and innovative

kitchens across South America, Australia, New Zealand and Singapore. In keeping with his worldwide perspective, the menu celebrates food from all corners of the world with modern sharing plates. Start small with their famous Boquerones, beef tartare, grilled scallops or salt-baked beetroot.

Up next are the sharing mains where you'll find soulful plates like jerk chicken, vegetable paella, steak and cheese sandwiches and battered fish tacos. At this point, it's probably Thyme O'Clock. That's a tropical cocktail in case you were wondering. With specialty cocktails, dessert cocktails and their own take on classics, now there is an excuse to chill out even longer!
