Located in the dreamy landscapes of Kayumanis Nusa Dua Resort, Piasan Restaurant is a feat of contemporary elegance.

Surrounded by serene pools and accentuated by innovative, modern architecture, Piasan is refreshingly minimalist and symmetrical. It's constructed entirely of glass with added wooden shutters for privacy. Inside, a sophisticated setup of classy dining furniture is clad with pristine white tablecloths and a floor constructed of glossy charcoal tiles that make for a sleek, monochrome look. It's when the sun sets that the venue really comes into its own. The outside lanterns twinkle, reflecting on the still pools and creating a feeling of infinite space and time.

The menu focuses on classic Italian cuisine, starting first with delicate small plates like smoked salmon with asparagus and parsley sauce, deep-fried eggplant with parmesan and mozzarella and spritely green salads with lots of fresh vegetables and balsamic. It's even possible to graze on creamy parmigiana before venturing to the main course. Primmi Piatti serves up a selection of fresh pasta with authentic sauces, all of which transport you to the sunny shores of the Mediterranean. First up is the seafood spaghetti stuffed with scallops, prawns and squid, anointed with a punchy tomato sauce. Then comes the classic penne with smoked salmon, cheesy lasagne brimming with meaty tomato sauce and saffron risotto with prawns.

Second is all about prime meat in the form of roasted duck breast, Black Angus steak and braised veal whilst the pizza menu also serve up comforting and familiar flavours. For Italian food in an exquisite Balinese setting, it has to be Piasan every time.
