If the mosaic tiles represent seasonal Indonesian ingredients and the glue represents French cooking techniques, then you have yourself the colourful tapestry that is Mozaic Restaurant Gastronomique.

Lose yourself in what can only be the most atmospheric outdoor seating area that ever was. With the jungle on their doorstep, Mozaic has tables nestled amongst the palm trees and with the addition of warm lighting and a plethora of candles, this is as romantic as it gets.

Unfortunately, you can't eat the setting, so let's move on to the menu. Their signature menu showcases gastronomic brilliance in dishes like their 'Iberico Pluma' pork, New Zealand venison tenderloin, roasted Atlantic monkfish and the fresh catch of the day. If you're feeling really adventurous (you are in the jungle after all), why not try the Bedugal rabbit martabak that comes with duck foie gras and an array of tangy pickles.

Vegetarians can revel in their own menu that includes a crispy seared silken tofu, caramelised Bedugal cauliflower and a pumpkin ravioli with that unique Indonesian twist. Round off this exclusive dining experience with a glass of bubbly. It is French way mon ami!

Simply sublime. 8 course seasonal degustation menu + wine pairing is culinary bliss. If you don't go and try this in your lifetime, you only have yourself to blame

So I've been to a few first table experiences but this one really takes the cake. We went to Mozaic for lunch. The whole experience was so intimate without being intrusive - I loved it. You get to interact with the chef as he prepares your meals in the open kitchen concept. The food was on a whole another level - best food I've had in Bali at a fining dining restaurant. Overall amazing food and service was great. A must in Ubud! Thank you.

This was our sixth time at Mozaic through the years, and may have been our favorite. the kitchen continues to surprise and delight, presentation was gorgeous, service impeccable and friendly, and...mind blowing desserts. The watermelon carpaccio starter course was a symphony of interesting tastes. Highly recommended!
